Torbay Film Club Viewer Comments:

Very moving - glad that I brought a hanky.  More comfortable seats and a nicer atmosphere than at the usual cinemas.
Well filmed - emotional impact.  Bit soft/romantic.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.  Made me smile and brought a tear to my eye.
Powerful emotions.  Good make up used on actress.  Kept me hooked.
The film captured the spirit of Paris and Edith Piaf's life.  Fantastic performances and a moving score.
A truly spectacular film that had me crying more than laughing but gripped throughout.  Excellent.
Very unusual - sometimes too "jumpy" making it difficult to follow - interesting camera work - what a life!!
Sequence sometime difficult to follow.  Some beautiful photography.  Even given her start in life it could all have been so different!
Problem - there are aspects of the film I would mark extremely high - but others that disappointed.  Some of the camera work was too distracting although on the whole the cinematography was beautiful - lovely authentic depiction of France of the period.  The continuity was difficult due to the constant flashback technique.
Nothing I would usually watch but really
Superb!
EXCELLENT - well worth waiting a year to see it.
It was a great opportunity to see this locally.
A poignant moving film.
Excellent thank you
Very sad
Excellent film - room a little cold.
I really liked it but when I started to get upset by the movie a funny bit came and changed the mood.
Very good
Great final scene!
Excellent!  I have no regrets having watched this film!
