BOMBON EL PERRO
(15) Argentina 2005 97 mins Subtitled

It's a dog's life for Coco (Juan Villegas), a middle-aged, out-of-work mechanic who gets by flogging handmade knives in Argentina's parched Patagonia region. But then his luck changes when he is given Bombon, a pedigree dog. Made on a tight budget with a non-professional actors, this gently understated film can’t help but to leave with a smile on your face.

Thought it was going to be a traumatic ending but the last five minutes changed all that.  An unlikely pair of leads.

Beautifully filmed.  Sensitive reflective story line.
Enjoyed it.
Very good especially if you are a dog lover.
Simple but cute.  Needed a better ending.
Like it from first seeing his face (Coco and Bombon).
A gentle tale.
Delightful tale - refreshingly unsophisticated, trust restored in the end - Yes it has a feelgood factor!! Thank God he didn't go for the Bank Manager's option!!
Pleasant simple film.
A good film, but it seemed to end without a real resolution.
Too many close ups.  Loved Juan Villager.
Gentle, enjoyable film.
Loved the ending - I'm glad Coco got the dog back!
Warm and human.  Beautifully simple and direct.  Life enhancing.
